[Case Study] Clean Booth for Retractable Injection Molding Machine

A design that allows for the attachment and movement of casters! It demonstrates the necessary capabilities while being simple and affordable.

This is a case study of cleaning the resin molding process at a customer manufacturing medical devices. There was a concern about the possibility of foreign substances adhering to products manufactured through injection molding, necessitating countermeasures. However, simply enclosing the entire molding machine posed various problems. Therefore, we proposed a bellows-type clean booth tailored to the shape of the injection molding machine. Based on the cleanliness requirements needed for this project, we believed that this portable and storable bellows-type clean booth could meet the customer's needs. [Issues] - Enclosing the molding machine with a fixed booth would worsen the operability for mold changes and product retrieval. - Some products do not require cleaning. - The molding machine is equipped with a product retrieval arm, and including the arm, the machine height is nearly 5 meters. - There is a desire to share the booth among multiple molding machines in operation. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*
